August's Calendar - Looking at the Summer Sky

Sorry for the delay, but I've been travelling - more on that in a future posting.  However, here's my August 2023 calendar.

The base is from a past Paper Pumpkin kit called Summer Nights.  Behind it is white cardstock I shaded with the same ink colors with blending brushes to frame and echo the main image.  I love these purples and blues together!

The child is from an old stamp set called Silhouette Scenes.  My idea was to recall the awe of being a child looking at a starry sky.
